| They do have campers but it's not like before when there was massive camping. All those guys went to MW2. CoD4 servers normally have map rotation and with 14,000 servers (about 7 or 8k with players) you won't have a hard time finding somewhere to play. |

You can download it.... but I suggest you buy it. You don't want a used one 'cause the key could be banned; so I suggest you get it from Walmart or Best Buy. Wherever is cheaper. Gamestop is another option though I'd call before hand and make sure they have it in stock for PC.
Get the 'Game of the Year' Edition
If you just want to order it online, www.newegg.com |

| whats the difference between "Game Of The Year" and the other one? I guess I shall go and buy it at Wal Mart since the last time I was there the price was reasonable. Also is it worth buying? Who plays it? |

MW2 for pc has a bad rating and sucks, you cant do much to your cfg in MW2.
Metal and I play cod4 when we text each the secret code: "MW" |

| Yea, I have mw2 on ps3 and want to get into it alot more. It's cool sh*t. But I can understand why people don't like it on a pc. Cod4 would be much better for pc and there are still alot of people playing it. |

Game of the year has the extra maps on the install, which cost more money anyway. There's no other difference than that. When you actually install CoD4 you're going to need to update the version to 1.7 from 1.6. 1.7 has -tons- (literally thousands) more people.
And yeah, the majority say MW2 is horrible on PC. It was a port from Xbox and they ruined the system by axing dedicated servers. I won't go into a rant, there are plenty on the forums and google will probably give you thousands of reasons to play it on console rather than PC.
Anyway, CoD4 will keep you busy for months so have fun with it. |
