To customize Return to Castle Wolfenstein, many times you need to copy files into the main folder of your wolf game and then restart the game. For windows the default location is here: C:\Program Files\Return to Castle Wolfenstein\main

if you are on a mac it will be in a different location. If your main folder isn’t in the default location, then search around your computer until you find it. Some of these files won’t work unless you copy them into the right place.

Remove blood with the BloodBlend pk3

There are two downloads available. The raw pk3 and the .zip version. The .zip is just a compressed file you will need to unzip to extact the .pk3.

• mp_X_BloodBlend2.zip
• mp_X_BloodBlend2.pk3

The bloodblend file has to be running on the server you connect to for it to work. Both MoB Fugazi and Mob Alliance servers have it installed. Simply copy this file to your main folder, restart your game and you should see the difference. It removes much of the blood on screen and makes things look a little different. Some have said it resembles the osp mod in Return to Castle Wolfestein 1.4.

Red Dot Crosshair

• mp_pak3.pk3

This will give you a red crosshair when playing wolf. Copy the file into your main folder, restart your game, and set your crosshair to 4 or 5. If you don’t know how to set your crosshair in game, just open the console by pressing ~ and then type in this command:

/seta g_crosshair 4

This file also has to be running on the server for it to work properly. Again, both MoB servers have it installed.
